Every chat on your Divar ads becomes a lead

Connect your Divar account and each new conversation on your ads makes a lead with a link back to that chat. The chat itself stays on Divar and nothing of it is kept; the buyer's number reaches the lead only when they send it to you themselves.

What changed

Divar chats: each chat on an ad is a lead, waiting for an answer or with the buyer's number shared

  • Each new conversation on your Divar ads makes a lead on the Divar chats list. The lead's note carries the links to that chat and that ad on Divar.
  • As Divar's Kenar rules ask, the text of the messages is stored nowhere. The panel only knows when the conversation started, when the buyer last wrote and whether they are waiting for your answer.
  • When the buyer sends their own number as a contact in the chat, the number goes on the lead. If that number is already one of your customers, the lead joins that customer.
  • You can answer from the Divar chats page. The reply is sent as you, in the same Divar chat, and no copy stays in the panel.

How to use it

  1. Go from Connections book to Divar chats.
  2. Press Connect Divar, sign in to Divar with the account your ads are on, and allow access.
  3. Tick Turn new Divar chats into leads and press Save.
  4. Chats are listed on the same page. Open the chat on Divar takes you to the conversation, and Reply sends your text on Divar.

Good to know

  • Divar approves the access of each published app separately, after review. Until Divar has approved chat access, this may be switched on and still receive nothing.
  • Divar's rules ask apps not to keep chats or buyers' personal details and not to take buyers elsewhere. Keep the conversation on Divar.
  • Divar may end the connection after 30 days; press Connect Divar again when it does.
  • Connecting and switching it on or off is for someone who manages the business. Anyone who sees customers sees the chats, and replying needs a seat that may change customers.
