Check a cheque in the Sayad system, an IBAN's owner, a phone's owner and a postal code

Before you accept a cheque or pay a supplier, ask Finnotech or Jibit: the cheque's holder, the drawer's colour and bounced cheques, who owns an IBAN, whether a mobile number is registered to a national ID (Shahkar), and the address behind a postal code. Every answer is kept where you asked, with its time and the provider's reference.

What changed

A Sayad check on a received cheque: the chequebook holder, its colour and the drawer's bounced cheques

You can now run identity and cheque checks from inside the panel, through an inquiry provider you have a contract with (Finnotech or Jibit), or through the platform's account where this installation offers one.

  • Received cheques: in Accounting, on the Cheques tab, every received cheque has a "Sayad check" button. Finnotech answers who holds the chequebook, the drawer's colour (white to red) and, with a national ID, the bounced and cleared sums and the drawer's bounced cheques. Jibit answers the cheque's status and parties when you give the national ID it was issued to. The same button is on each installment cheque of an invoice's Installment plan.
  • Customers: on the customer file, under Details, the "Identity checks" box checks the customer's mobile against the national ID you type (Shahkar), who owns the IBAN they gave you, and the address behind a postal code.
  • Suppliers: on a purchase order, under Supplier, "Check an IBAN" tells you who owns the account the supplier asked to be paid to, before you pay.

Each answer is kept with the date and time, who ran it and the provider's reference, and the newest one is shown where it was asked for.

How to use it

  1. Open Connections book and go to the "Identity and cheque checks" tab.
  2. Tick "Use identity and cheque checks", choose the provider and type its keys: for Finnotech the client ID, the client secret and the national ID of the client's owner; for Jibit the API key and secret key. Save, then press "Check the keys".
  3. To check a cheque, open Accounting, go to Cheques and press "Sayad check" on the cheque. Type the drawer's national ID if you have it, tick the consent line and press "Check the cheque".
  4. To check a customer, open their file, go to Details and press "Check" beside the check you want. Tick the consent line and press "Run the check".

Good to know

  • Off for every business until its owner turns it on.
  • These providers answer only servers in Iran, so the checks work on the Iranian installation. Anywhere else the check fails with a sentence saying so, and nothing else on the page is affected.
  • Finnotech and Jibit ask for your company documents and a contract before they open an account, and bill you per check. With the platform's account, each answered check is charged to your business at the price shown on the settings page and appears with your AI credit on the billing page; an unanswered check is not charged.
  • A check is about another person. Run one only with their agreement and a lawful reason: every check asks you to confirm that first.
  • Who can run checks: a seat that edits customers for customer checks, a seat that manages billing for cheques and suppliers. Changing the settings needs a seat that manages the business.
  • The same question asked twice within two minutes is answered from the first check, so a double click is not charged twice.
  • The console can run the same checks; each waits for your approval card.
